Aware
I am aware that God's presence is
within me and all around me
During times of prayer,
I build a deepening awareness of God's presence within me.
This awareness of God within me
enhances my perception of God within others.
I notice a hopefulness in situations where
I had thought there was none.
I observe a sacredness in other people
regardless of their personalities or moods.
Aware of beauty in my world,
I stir up the joy of living within me.
My imagination is stimulated so that
I am motivated to set new goals.
Because I am sensitive to the feelings of others,
I listen in love and hear the joy, concern, or loneliness
that is beyond the words they speak.
I rejoice with then in their joy,
and I pray with them that their every need is met.
"Look to Him, and be radiant;
so your faces hall never be ashamed."
